Firstly, a quick note to say thanks to everyone who shared my first recipe, vegan spaghetti bolognese. It’s been really lovely to see the comments that people have sent me and have really made me want to keep going with posting as many recipes as I possibly can. What better place to go next than the perfect thing to compliment bolognese: vegan garlic bread.
I. Love. Bread.
Garlic bread reminds me of everything to do with my student days, and the improvisation and experimentation that had to come along with it. Everything I made was a different shaped carb and either garlic or vegetable stock and maybe a tin of tomatoes if I was doing well.
As grim as that could be, I ended up with quite a few recipes far superior and cheaper than their shop-bought alternatives.
This recipe also conveniently fits into one of the two vegan food groups…
so many of my meals are just different variations of bread and houmous
